Martinon Community Centre Annual Chili Cookoff

General Rules:

* The Chili Cookoff will be held at the Martinon Community Centre 12-3pm on Sunday, October 3rd, 2021.

* Chili is defined as any kind of spicy, stew-like dish cooked with chili peppers, meat (optional) and/or beans

(optional). Various other spices & ingredients may be added except for rice or pasta.

* Chili must be cooked before arriving at the event. Check in &set-up for the event will start at 11:30 am.

Your chili should be ready for judging at 12pm.

* Chili should be kept hot, preferably by electronic crock pots or similar means. Electric connections will be

provided.

* Please provide at least 2 Gallons of chili for the judging. You may provide more if you wish

* Participants are responsible for cleaning their container(s) after the event. Container(s)can be picked up at

2pm unless already gone before hand

* Please let your friends and family know about the event- The more people, the better the chance at

winning!

“BEST CHILLI” will be judged by the following criteria: the most ballots your chili’s name at the end of the

event

1st, 2nd, 3rd prize will be given away.

Registration Fee per chili is $10.00 (incudes 1 meal ticket)

Each meal ticket includes 1 chance to win a BBQ
